Where should I store my juice?
All juices must be refrigerated as soon as you receive them. If you are planning to travel with your juices we recommend that you place them in an appropriate container with ample room for ice packs so that the juices remain cold.
How many calories are in each juice?
One 16 ounce juice may contain anywhere from 120-220 calories. Although that may seem like a high number, none of those calories are wasted as our bodies know how to properly use the calories assimilated from raw foods. Nutritional information on all our juices will be available on the website soon.
What if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
We recommend our specialty Hot Mama Cleanse for new Moms. This cleanse consists of 4 juices per day consumed in conjunction with 2 additional light meals (not provided) such as a soup or a salad. We also encourage snacking on fruits and vegetables throughout the day. For mothers who are breastfeeding, we recommend doing a 3 day cleanse over a 6 day period – only consuming 2 juices per day as part of a healthy whole foods diet. As with any diet always be sure to get cleared by your doctor before starting any new diet plan.
What if I have a health condition such as diabetes or take prescription medication?
If you're diabetic or on blood thinners you probably should not do a cleanse. Always consult your doctor prior to beginning any diet plan.
What if I have a gluten allergy?
All of our products are gluten-free; however the juices are freshly pressed in a kitchen that uses wheat products. Although we do our absolute best to avoid cross-contamination, if a severe allergy exists we do not recommend consuming our juices.
Is the juice vegan-friendly?
Yes, there are no animal products used in our juices.
Are your juices fresh upon delivery?
Yes, our juices are made fresh daily. While our juices are safe to drink within a 21 day time period from delivery, we highly recommend consuming your juices within 6 days for maximum benefit.
How is the OnJuice cleanse different from other cleanses?
Our juices are cold-pressed and made fresh daily with the finest locally-sourced fruits and vegetables. Our cold-pressed process locks in all the essential vitamins and minerals that typically get lost with other forms of traditional juicing that use heat or pasteurization.
Where do I get my daily protein requirements?
The amount of protein available in both of our greens juices, our almond milk and our vegan protein smoothie are enough to meet above and beyond our bodies' daily protein requirement as many of our juices contain vegetables that are high in protein. However if you would like additional protein, we recommend incorporating our almond milks, soups, or smoothies into your cleanse.
Is there an age requirement or limit to cleanse?
While we do not have an age requirement on consuming our juice products on their own, we insist that our cleanses only be used by individuals that are 18 years or older.
Can I drink alcohol while cleansing?
We strictly warn against drinking alcohol 3-5 days before your cleanse as well as during your cleanse.
Can I smoke when I am on the cleanse?
Ideally, no you should not smoke while cleansing.
Is it ok to exercise while I am on the cleanse?
Yes. We recommend low-impact activities. Exercise is a great way to help your body with detoxification.
Does my cleanse come with a manual?
Of course, we send a prep email to everyone prior to their cleanse! We will also include a detailed cleanse manual that has been created by our detox specialist. This manual will include instructions, tips and even recipes and shopping lists.
Will I lose weight from doing a cleanse?
It is possible, but weight-loss is not specifically what our cleanses are intended to do. Any weight that you will lose during your cleanse is normally just water weight and toxins. Once you begin to integrate foods into your diet again, your weight will return to its normal state. Cleansing is a great way to influence weight-loss, and transition your dietary habits, but instant weight-loss is not the goal of a cleanse.
Does it matter if I do not drink the juices in a specific order?
Yes, we request that you drink the juices in their recommended order, dependent which cleanse you have chosen to try.
What are the detox symptoms that I will experience?
Mild headaches, fatigue, dizziness, and bouts of nausea are normal. If you feel as if your symptoms are unbearable, please contact a medical professional.
I have never cleansed before. How do I know that I can handle it?
Remember that our cleanses offer a great amount of nutrients and are not intended to deprive you. Our cleanses are designed to give you everything that you need to make it through your day. Just make sure to take it a little slower than usual and listen to your body.
Can I have any other beverages in addition to the juices?
Yes, as long as they are healthy! We recommend having at least eight glasses of water per day, besides your cleanse beverages.
I have not gone to the bathroom since I started the cleanse, what should I do?
This is normal, the opposite is also a normal side effect.
What if I get hungry?
Consume your juices slowly and conscientiously. If you find your hunger unbearable, we recommend you snack on only fruits and vegetables.
What if I live in the South Florida area and I would rather pick up my juices?
Pickup order require 3-5 days notice for processing. Pickups can only be made during regular business hours M-F from 9am - 5pm EST.
My juice cleanse has arrived and my ice packs are melted. Is that bad?
Not at all! It's completely normal for the ice packs to arrive melted. Just be sure to refrigerate your juices as soon as you've opened your package to ensure maximum freshness.
If I live outside of South Florida, how are my juices delivered?
Anyone living outside of our South Florida local delivery network will receive their juices via Fedex Priority Overnight. Juices will arrive to most areas by 11:00am. In some cases, juices might arrive later. Delivery fees will vary based on your location and are Fedex standard rates based on geographic location and weight of your package. Please remember to refrigerate your juices as soon as you receive them.
When do I start my cleanse?
We recommend starting your cleanse on the day you receive your juices. However, if for some reason, your package is delayed and they do not arrive before noon, we recommend waiting until the following day to start your cleanse. Remember to continue prepping your body beforehand by following our pre-cleanse regimen.
How much does delivery usually cost?
We offer flat rate national shipping on all of our cleanses. Shipping for a 1 day cleanse is $25.00, a 3 day cleanse is $35.00 and a 5 day cleanse is $45.00. Juice-a-holic and a la carte shipping prices will vary slightly.
How long does it take to receive my first delivery?
As all of our juices are made to order with all organic produce, juice orders can take 3-5 days for delivery depending on when your order is placed. Orders placed on Wednesday or Thursday by 4pm will ship Monday for Tuesday fedex priority overnight delivery. Orders placed by Friday at 4pm will ship Tuesday for Wednesday fedex priority overnight delivery. Orders in by Monday at 4pm (includes weekend orders) will ship Wednesday for Thursday fedex priority overnight delivery. Orders in by Tuesday 4pm will ship Thursday for Friday fedex priority overnight delivery.
Which cleanse do you suggest I try?
If you are a first-time cleanser a three-day signature cleanse is the easiest way to introduce your body to detoxification. Our advanced cleanse is an ideal option for experienced cleansers that are looking to strengthen their immune systems.
What's the best option - one, three, or five day cleanses?
While all of our cleanses will give you results, the best results will be achieved through our five day cleanse. After cleansing for an extended period of time you are bound to let go of some unhealthy habits and cravings. The longer you keep your body clean and free from toxins, the less you will want to reintroduce those chemicals back into your system.
Which cleanse will help me lose the most weight?
Our advanced cleanse has the least amount of calories and sugar so it is the best option for weight-loss.
What is the minimum number of juices that can be ordered on the a la carte program?
We require a 6 bottle minimum for a la carte juice purchases.
